Around 2:30 on Wednesday August 9th, Steve noticed chest pains and other unsettling physical symptoms. We wasted no time in getting him to the emergency room at Piedmont hospital which is thankfully right around the corner.
The wonderful cardiac team had him stabilized and into the Cath lab within minutes. Piedmont’s cardiac specialist Dr. Ballard quickly discovered the blockage in Steve’s LAD artery and was able to insert a stent via catheter and reverse the situation.
We are happy to report that he left Piedmont Hospital on Friday and is at home doing well. After a little rest he should make a full physical recovery.
We truly appreciate the outpour of concern, support, and prayer over the past few days. There is no doubt God has more plans for Steve in this life. Please continue to keep him and Suzanne in your thoughts and prayers.
