Coach’s Corner Teammates,
Think of the Coach’s Corner story as a football game with four quarters:
We just completed the first half, which is now ending after 12 years of service and support to our Metro Atlanta-Area high school coaches.
With our eyes now set on another decade of impact, these past few months have been our “half time” for regrouping and planning. We are now ready to come out on the field stronger and better prepared for total victory.
Our new game plan is of course only as good as our ability to implement it, therefore our third quarter is about developing the overall capacity of Coach’s Corner. This has included much needed personnel and operational enhancements. Building our capacity to serve is a critical step in the life of Coach’s Corner, and I am excited to now share with you the highlights of our progress, vision and game plan.
- Coach’s Corner Key Game Plan Elements
- Coaches need our help now more than ever. Serving their needs is our road map to impact.
- Our new team will enable us to serve and communicate with our support network more regularly.
- We will develop new initiatives to effectively connect with our coaches, while continuing our current programs and services.
- Coaching for Life is and will remain a team effort. We must foster the support of our parents, schools and community.
- Strategic partners are also essential to our effort. Coach’s Corner is looking to partner with like-minded organizations committed to sports, coaching and youth.
- Achieving our goal of greater impact will of course require greater resources.
My wish is for you to join us “in the Coach’s Corner.” Together we can lead our youth to become the “Total Teammates” they were created to be. Coaching is for life.
Always in YOUR ‘Corner!’
