Dear Coach Harkey,

Obviously words can not express my gratitude for your kindness, selflessness, patience, and love you have shared with me over the past six months. Thank you so much for being a fatherly figure to me and helping me in every way you could.

The love and caring that God has worked through you because of your faith and obedience has touched my life, inspired me, and made me grow in the faith more than you will know. I believe one of the reasons God put me on the football team at Riverwood is so I could meet you.

My motives, heart, and life have changed so much over the past six months, I can hardly believe it. I will be sure to stay in touch while I am at college.
